After his great supporting role in "Mermaids", Hoskins appeared in films like "Hook", "The Big Freeze", "Enemy at the Gates" and "Snow White and the Huntsman". In 2012, he withdrew from show business after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He died from pneumonia at the age of 71 on April 29 in 2014.
