Matthew has been married to his wife Margherita since 1992, the couple has two children. In 2006, he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award as Best Actor in a TV Drama and in 2010 for an Emmy in the same category. He has also appeared in a number of feature films including “We are Marshall”, Vantage Point” and “World War Z”. He was last seen on the big screen in the western “Bone Tomahawk” in 2015.
