After he left the show, Barry got the lead in "What about Brian", which only ran for one season on ABC. During the last years, he appeared regularly on several other TV shows like "Gossip Girl", "Hart of Dixie" and "Masters of Sex". Ever since June 2017, he stars as "Ricky Cooper" in the UPtv show "Date my Dad".
