Actor Mandy Patinkin was part of the original cast of "Criminal Minds". However, he left the show after three seasons. Prior to "Criminal Minds", he was a singer and actor on Broadway and from 1994 to 2000, he played the surgeon "Dr. Jeffrey Geiger" on "Chicago Hope", for which he won an Emmy Award.
