By the turn of the century, Hewitt was playing the leading role in the hit series "Ghost Whisperer" (2005-2010). She tried her luck as a singer as well, releasing four studio albums, with little to no success. Hewitt was last seen the series "Criminal Minds", but, due to the birth of her second child, she left the show in early 2017.
