After starring in "Falcon Crest" she had small guest appearances in "Murder, She Wrote" and "Hotel". She also appeared in the films "Roller Blade Warriors: Taken by Force" (1989) and "Cyber Tracker" (1994). Her fans last got to see the actress in the short film "Mrs. Sweeney" in 2013. She is married to Jack Smith and the couple have three children. Her daughter Kathleen Kinmont was married to Abby's fellow "Falcon Crest" cast member Lorenzo Lamas.
