In the fanous Marvel film "Captain America", "Peggy Carter's" (Hayley Atwell) hair is all wrong for the time period in which the film is set. During the second world war women in the armed forces would have had to have worn their hair above-collar length and tied back. "Peggy's" hair is far too long and also loose...but it is a sci-fi film, so anything's possible!
