June Whitfield (92) is a true national treasure and had already been awarded an OBE when she starred in "Absolutely Fabulous", but has since then also been awarded a CBE and DBE for services to drama and entertainment. She has appeared in hundreds of TV programmes and radio programmes throughout her career and was still acting at 90(!!) when she played "Sister Ruth" in "EastEnders".
