Matt won the 2010 series, even beating "One Direction". This victory was not all the singer had hoped for though, and while "One Direction" went on to stratospheric success, Matt was not quite as successful and was dropped by his label after his second album. He has a new deal with Sony and will be releasing his fourth album in 2018.
