Micheal Moriarty left the cast of "Law & Order" in 1994 due to a lawsuit filed against the show, claiming it too violent for viewers. This lawsuit led to numerous disputes with the show's producers where he claimed that the executives were giving into their enemies and reducing the violence on the show. The producers claim a different story, saying that Moriarty was removed from the show because of his erratic behavior. He has moved on to star in several different productions such as in "Hitler Meets Christ" and "The Yellow Wallpaper".
