Richard Dean Anderson was able to revive his career with his role in "Stargate". Richard, who of course also used to star as "MacGyver", was a part of "Stargate" until the very end of the series and was also a part of the spin-off series that ensued. Dean was also given the opportunity to produce a few of the episodes!
