Christopher Judge played the role of "Teal'C" (pronounced "Tie-Alk") throughout the shows run. "Teal'C" was an alien from the "Jaffa" species, who, in fact, aged significantly slower than human beings. He was always considered one of the more important members of the team due to the fact that he was not only smart, he also had a vast knowledge of other alien species.
