"The Tudors" tells the story of the British King Henry VIII and his six wives. The actor of Jonathan Rhys Meyers ("Henry VIII") and the true King differ greatly with regards to their appearance. Jonathan is slim and attractive, while King Henry VIII had red hair, a full beard and was rather chubby. However, the series itself is based on his life, not his looks.
