George Lazenby had the great honor of playing "James Bond" exactly once. He starred in the 1969 installment "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". This was partly due to tensions that arose between the actor and the director of the film, but also because the reviews were quite bad and many critics did not think Lazenby to be a good enough actor.
