Benji Gregory aka „Brian Tanner“ quit the acting business right after the last episode of „Alf“ wrapped. He later attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California and joined the Navy in 2003. He was discharged only two years later for medical reasons. Today, he lives with his wife in Arizona.
