The American actor, director and screenwriter Jonathan Brandis committed suicide in 2003 at the age of only 27. He'd become famous as a child actor with his role on the ABC soap opera "One Life To Live" and then starred on the popular NBC Sci-Fi series "seaQuest DSV" for all three seasons from 1993 until 1996.
