Anna Chlumsky took a break from acting from 1999 until 2005 to get a college degree in International Studies and worked at HarperCollins publishers as an editorial assistant. She went back to acting in 2007 and in 2012 was cast in the HBO hit show "Veep", which concluded its sixth season in 2017.
