The stockbroker Jordan Belfort earned millions in the stock market during the late 1980s. Then, in 1998 Belfort was sentenced to several years in prison for value security fraud and money laundering. His autobiography from 2007 was turned into a movie in 2013 with Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio starring as Belfort and he was directed by Martin Scorsese. You'll definitely know the movie: it's "The Wolf of Wall Street"!
