Anthony Edwards played "Mark Greene" for the better part of 8 seasons in the hit series "E.R.". After suffering from cancer for an extended period of time, "Mark" eventually succumbed to the disease. Sadly, he had thought that he had eventually won his fight against cancer. "Greene" died in his wife and daughter's arms with his last sight directed towards the ocean. A sad day for all "E.R." fans.
