Fran Drescher was on a plane from France to America, when she realized the CEO of the CBS Network was on the same flight. Because it has always been her biggest dream to play the the leading roöe in a series, Fran went up to him and introduced herself. Luckily she convinced him to meet her and talk about her idea. Just one year later, the series "The Nanny" was born.
