As it happens oftentimes, many actors and actresses who appeared on "Grey's Anatomy" originally auditioned for totally different parts than they ended up playing.... Sandra Oh, for example, originally wanted to play "Dr. Miranda Bailey" and Isaiah Washington AKA "Dr. Preston Burke" originally auditioned for the part of "Dr. Derek Shepherd". Maybe the actors and actresses did not get the part they first intended to, but luckily all of them featured in the series and made "Grey's Anatomy" as fabulous as it still is today!
