Everyone knows Tom Cruise is a hero on-screen, but a number of people have been helped by him off-set. He saved a woman after a car accident and paid her hospital bills as she was not insured. He also helped another woman who had been mugged. As well as these two heroic acts, he also pulled two young boys out of the crowd at the "Mission Impossible" premiere as they were in danger of being crushed.
