While the Fellowship wanders through the mines of Moria, “Gandalf” uses his glowing staff to lead them through the darkness. Unfortunately, we can see the cord which is used to power the staff. The lamp used as the light on top of the staff had such a high energy consumption that it could not be powered by a battery.
