Gabrielle Union (45) studied law after having gone to university to begin with to be able to focus on a career in soccer. She ended up graduating with a degree in sociology. Whilst a student, she started modeling, only to move on to the world of television. Her first TV appearance was in "7th Heaven". She had roles in "Bad Boys 2", "Almost Christmas" and "Think Like a Man". Since 2013 she has played the leading role in the series "Being Mary Jane".
