A bit of trivia: the characters in the films are based on the "The Addams Family", a cartoon by Charles Addams, who first drew them in the 1930s and they were then published in The New Yorker. "The Addams Family", a TV series, was the first adaptation of the cartoon, it ran from 1964–1966.
