Susan Howard began her career in the 1960s. She had her first guest-starring roles on "I Dream Of Jeanie" and "Star Trek". For her role on the TV show "Petrocelli", she was nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Her role on "Dallas" was planned only as a cameo, however, the producers were impressed with her and she ended up playing her part for nine years.
